PRODUCTION FACTORY

the Molino di Pordenone operates in a red brick building directly connected to the railway, and is an example of the perfectly preserved industrial archaeological heritage of the early post-war period. Inside, the architectural beauty leaves room for the technology and the quality of the machinery, made with machines from the Swiss company Buhler.

Every year the Molino di Pordenone invests in improving its products, intervening directly in the production sector. Currently the Molino has a production capacity of 3200 quintals a day.

SELECTION OF RAW MATERIALS

The safety of the product starts from the control of the raw material. The Molino di Pordenone accurately checks the grain load: each truck must wait for the response of a rheological and microbiological analysis before proceeding with the offloading, to verify that the goods comply with the standards of the European Community regulations. Once the goods have been offloaded, each grain of wheat passes through an optical sorter, which discards any grain that is not compliant and potentially harmful to the health of the consumer.

MOLYTE SYSTEM

The milling plant , which is among the most advanced in Europe, is fully automated and equipped with large plansichter with aluminum frames that guarantee absolute hygiene during the milling phase, ie the grinding process itself, consisting of the phases of breakage and re-grinding. The recent increase of the surface of the plansichter allows to separate even better the different parts of the grain of wheat and at the same time to grind it more slowly, stressing less the product and ensuring an even higher quality.
